Amphibians like spade foot toad dig burrow with the help of its spade-like feet and goes to sleep till the rains arrive. The desert habitat is home to a range of animals and plants that have actually adapted to make it through in extreme dry conditions. Conservation efforts are however underway to save them from going extinct.
